I am a computational material scientist with a passion to understand structural-property relations in emerging energy materials.
During my post-doctoral stage, I investigated metal-halide perovskites for photovoltaics and photocatalysis. In particular, I investigated several aspects of their lattice dynamics, stability under ambient environment, and novel lead-free perovskite inspired materials.
Since September 2023, I am leading the subgroup theoICON, with the goal of deriving a theoretical understanding of the role of the host materials on the ionic conductivity, as well as the role of defects and dopants therein.
